An early morning crash on University Boulevard claimed the life of a driver and injured his two passengers.

It's unknown why Ephraim lost control of the car.
Samuel Ephraim, 22, of Orlando, was traveling west on University Boulevard around 2:05 a.m., when he lost control of his Nissan, collided with a pole and struck a wall. Ephraim, and his passengers, Sudeep Sinha, and Cody Morris, both 18 and from Orlando, were transported to Florida Hospital East Orlando. Ephraim was pronounced deceased at the hospital. His passengers suffered minor injuries.
