The male bicyclist was southbound on State Road 471 near Tarrytown in Sumter County at about 9 p.m. Sunday when the bicycle was struck by a Chevy Trailblazer driven by an 84-year-old Zephyrhills man, according to an accident report from the Florida Highway Patrol.
