Early morning crash claims life of Bartow woman
It doesn't appear there were any other occupants of the vehicle. The roadway was shut down for approximately four hours as investigators with PCSO's traffic homicide unit collected evidence.

Deputies didn't respond to the scene until after 7:20 a.m., when they received a call about an overturned vehicle found near the 1000 block of 80 Foot road.

When they arrived on scene, the found an overturned Chevrolet Tahoe with a woman pinned underneath.
39-year-old Polk County woman Amanda Sue Reedy died early Sunday from injuries she suffered in a single-vehicle crash on 80 Foot Rd. in Bartow, Florida. Sheriff deputies responded to a call about an overturned vehicle in the 1000 block of the roadway. When they arrived they found a 2000 silver Chevrolet Tahoe with Reedy pinned underneath. Investigators believe the accident occurred sometime after 1 a.m. It appears Reedy was traveling north when the vehicle veered onto the shoulder, came back across the road and struck trees before rolling onto its roof. Reedy was not wearing a seatbelt, and was partially ejected out of the driver's side window.
