The Hernando County Sheriff's Office says a woman was killed after being thrown from a four-wheeler she was driving on Sunday.

The Sheriff's Office says Jessica Oras was with a group of people celebrating a birthday at Whitehurst Pond in Brooksville Sunday afternoon when the accident happened.
Hernando County deputies and Fire/Rescue personnel responded around 5 p.m. where an investigation reveled Jessica Oras was driving the four-wheeler with her cousin Rachel Gernaat on the back.
They were driving around the pond and as Oras sped up, they hit a bump and were both ejected from the ATV.
A second four wheeler took Gernaat to get help.
Oras was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Medical Examiner's Office responded and removed the body for autopsy.
Preliminary investigation revealed no signs of foul play.
