Wesley Chapel boy, 15, killed in Brooksville crash

Michael Miller suffered serious injuries and is recovering while Ryan Miller suffered minor injuries. A 15-year-old Hernando County boy was killed in a crash Thursday evening. Troopers said Harshman and 17-year-old Michael Miller were passengers in the Aveo, driven by 18-year-old Ryan Scott Miller. Harshman, of Wesley Chapel, was airlifted to Bayonet Point Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, troopers said. The Aveo ended up on the grass shoulder of the road while the Ram hit a utility pole on the side of the road.

1 teen killed, 2 injured in crash while heading to church

BROOKSVILLE, Fla. (AP) - A 15-year-old boy died and two other teens were injured in a crash on their way to church. Local media reported the teens were on their way to a service at Brooksville Christian Church. Passenger Jaret Michael Harshman was flown to Bayonet Point Hospital where he died Wednesday night. The Florida Highway Patrol says a car driven by 18-year-old Ryan Miller went through a stop sign Wednesday night and was struck by a pickup truck. Miller's 17-year-old brother Michael was also injured.
