A 56-year-old man died from his injuries after he was hit by a motorcyclist Sunday evening, according to the Clearwater Police Department. The crash happened at 9:33 p.m. at Gulf-to-Bay Boulevard and Mercury Avenue.

Police and Clearwater Fire & Rescue responded to the crash at Mercury Avenue at 9:33 p.m. The victim, who was crossing Gulf-to-Bay when struck by the westbound motorcycle, was taken to Morton Plant Hospital, where he died.
