Highlands County Fire Rescue and Highlands County Sheriff's Office said they responded to a small plane crash Friday evening. According to officials, a small plane crashed off O'Neal Road in a remote area of Lorida.

All six people on board survived and were alert when medics responded. Two of them were transported to local hospitals for treatment. The pilot was airlifted to a regional trauma center for a cut on his head, a spokesperson for the county said.
