The Mustang struck a raised concrete curb, continued south through a paved media and into a grassy area on the other side.
A 41-year-old New Port Richey man died Friday night from injuries sustained in a one-vehicle crash in Pasco County.
William Moran was transported to the Medical Center of Trinity just after 7 p.m. where he passed away a short time later.
According to a Florida Highway Patrol report Moran was traveling south along Seven Springs Blvd. in his 2004 Ford Mustang just north of Humboldt Ave. when he lost control of the vehicle while negotiating a curve. Investigators do not yet know what caused the driver veer off the roadway.
The Mustang struck a raised concrete curb, continued south through a paved media and into a grassy area on the other side.
The vehicle came to a final rest after hitting a tree.
The investigation continues.
