Christopher J. Ryan, 29, killed in pedestrian collision with alleged hit-and-run driver Austin Patrick Payne, 27, on Bruin Drive near New Port Richey, Florida

Payne didn't see Ryan walking, according to the agency, and crashed into him head-on, throwing the pedestrian into the shoulder, troopers reported. Ryan died at the scene. Payne and Flynn were uninjured.
