An infant girl was among five people killed Sunday in a three-vehicle crash on State Road 39 north of Plant City, troopers said.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the 20-year-old female driver of a 2015 Ford Explorer was traveling north on State Road 39, near the Bruton Road intersection.

Troopers said the SUV was traveling north on Paul Buchman when it crossed over the highway’s centerline for unknown reasons and went into the path of the pickup truck, which was going the opposite way.
