Deputies: 1 killed, 1 critically injured when car crashes into tree

One person died and another was critically injured after a car crashed into a tree early Wednesday morning, officials say. The car hit a left-hand curve, went off the south shoulder and crashed into a tree, deputies say. Castellano suffered severe internal injuries and was flown to Tampa General Hospital in critical condition. Joseph's South Hospital, where Elayyan died.
