Troopers: Sarasota crash leaves pedestrian dead
The 40-year-old pedestrian was attempting to walk across Clark Road in front of approaching traffic when a car hit him in the area of the intersection with Swift Road just before 9 p.m., according to a news release from the Florida Highway Patrol.
