Teen hit by vehicle after crash in Spring Hill

A teenager was hospitalized Wednesday morning after a three-vehicle crash in Spring Hill. Troopers said when the teen got out of his car after the crash, he was struck by another vehicle. Mariner Blvd. was shut down to allow for a helicopter to land and airlift the boy to an area hospital. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the 14-year-old year boy was a passenger in a car that was involved in a crash at Mariner Boulevard and Wexler Boulevard just before 7 a.m. Details of the crash have not been released as of yet.
