A 16-year-old boy on a bicycle died after he was hit by a vehicle Saturday night in east Tampa, police said.

The accident involving a vehicle and a bicyclist occurred at East Chelsea Avenue and North 48th Street. The teenaged bicyclist, identified as 16-year-old Darius Jamal Evans, died at the crash site.
