Fatal hit-and-run victim was PBSO deputy’s son

Gordon, an Acreage resident, faces charges of DUI manslaughter, driving without a license, DUI causing property damage and leaving the scene of the crash. Should Gordon post bail of $125,000, Judge Dina Keever-Agrama ordered that he be held on house arrest.

Laux's funeral is scheduled for Saturday at the Palms West Funeral Home in Royal Palm Beach.   

Guilty plea in crash that killed deputy's son

The driver of a deadly hit and run that killed the son of a Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office deputy pleaded guilty in court Tuesday morning. 

Jacob Gordon will serve 10 years in prison.
