Michael Lohan vows to ‘stand by’ fiancé Kate Major after her DUI, domestic battery arrest.
Michael Lohan says he’s sticking by his fiancé Kate Major after another blowout fight that ended with her arrest for drunk driving and domestic battery Thursday night.
Lindsay Lohan’s dad called 911 from the Boca Raton residence he shares with Major and their 13-month-old son to say she scratched his face then fled in her car while “wasted” on alcohol and pills.
“She just hit a tree,” he frantically told the dispatcher in a recording of the Thursday distress call obtained by the Daily News. “Now she’s driving over the bushes. She had a bag of liquor in her car, and I wouldn’t give it to her. And then she attacked me and scratched my face with her nails.”
Cops quickly located Major, 31, in her red BMW and arrested her on suspicion of DUI after she failed her head-to-toe sobriety test and admitted her “pungent odor” of alcohol was from drinking, arrest reports from the Boca Raton Police Department reveal.
Major denied scratching Lohan and said he didn’t touch her, the reports state.
“I just want her to get better, and I wish her the best,” Michael Lohan stated the morning after taking their son to Palm Beach County Jail for Major’s first appearance.
“I will stand by her through the whole thing, especially for the sake of our son,” he said.
According to cops, Lohan was withholding car keys from Major when she went ballistic and scratched, slapped and chased him.
Major later blew 0.243 in a Breathalyzer test, more than three times the legal limit, according to TMZ.com.
Her bond was set at $1,000 for her DUI charge, online jail records show, but she remained behind bars Friday afternoon.
The Thursday incident was the latest in a string of explosive fights for the turbulent couple.
Last month, Major claimed on Twitter that Lohan threatened to take their son away while brandishing a knife.
Cops responded to the scene to check things out but didn’t make any arrests.
Major is on probation after pleading guilty to battery following a 2012 fight with two neighbors in a parking lot.
