Person transported to hospital after being struck by train in Jupiter early Saturday morning.

A person sustained serious injuries and was transported to St. Mary’s Medical Center after being struck by a train in Jupiter, said Captain Albert Borroto, spokesman for Palm Beach County Fire Rescue.

Rescue crews arrived on the scene of the accident, near East Indiantown Road and North Alternate A1A, around 1:35 a.m.
