Jupiter police continue to investigate a crash in which a vehicle hit a man crossing Indiantown Road Thursday night, sending him to the hospital with critical injuries, police spokesman Officer Adam Brown said Friday.

The crash happened at 7:45 p.m. when an eastbound vehicle hit the man as he crossed Indiantown Road at Hepburn Avenue. Paramedics called to the scene found bystanders performing CPR on the man, said a Palm Beach County Fire Rescue spokesman.

The injured man, whose name has not been released, was flown by Trauma Hawk to Delray Medical Center.

No charges have been filed against the driver and the investigation is on-going, police said.
