One person flown to Delray Medical Center on Monday night after being injured in a motorcycle crash in suburban Lake Worth, Palm Beach County Fire Rescue said.

One person flown to Delray Medical Center on Monday night after being injured in a motorcycle crash in suburban Lake Worth, Palm Beach County Fire Rescue said.

The crash happened just after 8:30 p.m. near Lyons and Lantana roads. Two cars that were trying to avoid the motorcycle were involved in a subsequent collision, said a Fire Rescue spokesman.

The occupants of those vehicles were not injured, he said.

When paramedics arrived on scene, they found the injured motorcyclist lying in the roadway. The motorcyclist’s injuries were severe enough to dispatch the Trauma Hawk helicopter.
