Witnesses estimated the dirt bike was traveling at more than 60 mph when it struck Patricia Foust of Stone Mountain, Ga., at about 9 p.m. at Robbins Drive and Palm Beach Lakes Boulevard, said Sgt. David Lefont, city police spokesman.

The impact of the collision caused Foust to come to rest over 100 feet away from the point of impact and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Patricia "Patsy" Crowell Foust died unexpectedly while vacationing in West Palm Beach, FL on Oct. 11, 2014 at the age of 65.
According to West Palm Beach police, a man on a dirt bike hit a woman walking across the street near Palm Beach Lakes Boulevard and Robbins Drive around 9 p.m. Saturday. "According to witnesses, the motorcycle was traveling at well above the posted speed," said homicide detective Karl Seifel. Seifel said the woman was in her 60s and pronounced dead on the scene. The motorcyclist was taken to a local hospital. Police said he will face charges.
