West Palm Beach Police Sgt. David Lefont said the car, described as a light colored Mercury Mariner SUV, headed southbound on Quadrille Blvd. after hitting the two people near Quadrille and Hibiscus Street at about 9:30 p.m.

Police said the vehicle is a 2008-2011 light-colored Mazda Tribute SUV. It “should have substantial damage to the windshield” as well as to its left-front headlight and fog light.
