The wreck happened in the 2900 block of Cannon Bridge Road near Fairview Elementary School. 19-year-old Rylee Higgins of Cleveland was driving the pickup truck. State troopers say he was southbound at the time of the crash and Mulkey was traveling north. According to the Habersham County Sheriff’s Office, Higgins told officers he was trying to get something from underneath his seat when the crash occurred.
