Driver in Acworth hit-and-run killed in subsequent accident
Police Chief Wayne Dennard told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution that a driver in a Monte Carlo tried fleeing the scene of an accident Friday night.
Police state that a driver who ran from the site of a hit-and-run accident was killed in a subsequent crash. The driver was operating a Monte Carlo attempted to escape from the scene of a Friday night pedestrian accident. While escaping, the driver lost control and was hit by a truck. The fleeing driver was killed in the crash. Three individuals were transported to WellStar Kennestone Hospital. Police stated one was in critical condition.
