The northbound lanes of Georgia 400 were closed for several hours after a pedestrian was struck and killed while walking along the highway late Saturday night.

Tyler Keith Piper of Covington was struck by at least one car on Ga. 400 North near the exit ramp for Haynes Bridge Road, Alpharetta police Officer Jason Muenzer said.
