Upon arrival, officers located a tractor trailer and a Lexus SUV involved in the collision. Atlanta Fire Rescue also responded on scene to extract the driver of the Lexus from the vehicle.
Police: Wrong-way driver hits tractor-trailer in early Friday morning head-on crash
According to a spokesperson with Atlanta police, the vehicle was traveling in the wrong direction when it crashed into the tractor-trailer. Police are not sure what prompted the driver to drive in the wrong driver.
