Police confirm fatality in Flat Shoals Rd. accident

An accident at Flat Shoals Road and Old National Highway left one person dead Thursday afternoon, December 10. Scott McBride with the Fulton County Police Department said they remain on the scene of the accident, which occurred in the intersection. McBride said one person died in the accident. Both roadways were fully blocked at the intersection while the accident reconstruction team was on the scene Thursday afternoon. Traffic is being redirected through the parking lots of nearby businesses.
