Derrick was my uncle and I really miss him

I'm so sorry about your uncle, he was an amazing person. I taught his daughter Layla at Discovery Point a few years ago she was one of my favorite students. I saw the love her father had for her and the love she had for him. I hope Layla and her mother are doing well. Gone but not forgotten.

Derrick was my 1st cousin. He was a year older than me. We stayed together in his home for 5 months I moved on to get my own. In 2012.. I really miss my bro/cousin. He also loved his daughter with all his heart. And was a caring and giving man. He want never be forgotten

Derek was my roommate at maryville College. Just in total disbelief when I heard this happened. couodnt find a better dude. So sorry man.
