Thomas Baptiste, 42, killed in motorcycle collision on Lawrenceville Highway in Lawrenceville, Georgia
Father of 3 killed in motorcycle crash in Gwinnett County
Thomas Baptiste, 42, of Lawrenceville, was driving his motorcycle to work when a car struck him, according to a GoFundMe page the Atlanta chapter of the Dirty South Stunners Motorcycle Club set up to help pay for Baptiste’s funeral expenses.
He was a member of the club, said Chris Ownbey, one of the victim’s co-workers.
Since motorcycle crashes often end in serious injuries, victims need immediate help
Motorcycle accidents are more likely to end in serious injuries or death for the motorcyclist, since the rider is not protected from the force of a collision. When a motorcycle accident happens, the injured rider needs immediate, appropriate medical care, the accident needs to be investigated, and the insurance companies need to be informed.
When a motorcycle crash is caused by negligence, additional steps need to be taken to protect the legal rights of the injured motorcyclist or the family members of someone killed in a motorcycle crash. Go here to learn more about motorcycle accidents and claims.
