A child was killed Saturday night in a deadly accident in Cobb County.

Smyrna police say an 8-month-old baby was killed and two other children were injured when a man accused of drunk driving crashed into a taxi head on.
Smyrna police say an 8-month-old baby was killed and two other children were injured when a man accused of drunk driving crashed into a taxi head on. Authorities say Darren Curry has been charged with driving under the influence and vehicular homicide in the Sunday morning crash on Windy Hill Road. Police have said the baby and two children, ages 3 and 7, were riding with Curry. The 3-year-old suffered critical head injuries and the 7-year-old was also injured. Curry's relationship with the children is unclear. A woman, Wykenia Harris, was also in the car and was taken to Kennestone Hospital with injuries. The driver of the taxi, Jose Diaz, was also taken to hospital with serious injuries. Police say that none of the children were restrained properly.
