On Friday, September 29, 2023, at 2:00 pm, Troopers from Post 38 Rome responded to a two-vehicle crash on GA 1 (Highway 27) at Scott Hill Road, in Chattooga County. The driver of a 2006 Jeep Wrangler, traveling south on GA 1, lost control of the vehicle and traveled onto the grass median.
