DeKalb County police identity suspect in fatal hit-and-run.

Police in DeKalb County have found the truck they believe was involved in the fatal hit-and-run that killed a 2-year-old and injured another child.

Police in DeKalb County have found the truck they believe was involved in the fatal hit-and-run that killed a 2-year-old and injured another child.

Police are now searching for Concepcion Cruz, 57.

They believe he is the one who hit and killed Caleb Lindsay and injured his 4-year-old sister.

Police said surveillance video of the suspect's truck helped them find it.

The children were standing at the entrance of a Walmart store in Tucker waiting to cross the road when they say Cruz hit them and kept going.

"We have reason to believe he may be attempting to flee to El Salvador. That is his home residence. He has family and friends here in the metro area," stated the Chief of Police for DeKalb County.
