Victims identified in double fatality wreck
According to the GSP a sedan, driven by 24-year old Philip Lanefrom Cordele, was going north on I-75 near mile marker 108 about 12:15 a.m. Sunday, when it ran off the road and hit a guardrail. The sedan rolled back on the interstate and stopped in the middle of the northbound lanes. A charter bus driven by 56-year-old Russell Tanksley slammed into the passenger side of the sedan, killing Lane and 65-year old Wanda McKnight of Atlanta, a passenger on the bus.
