Maggie Pruett, 72, killed in collision with train at Wilson-Woodard Road in Gresston, Georgia
Dodge County woman killed by train
"Apparently, she was coming off of Wilson-Woodard Road headed toward Highway 23 ... and that railroad crossing doesn't have the cross arms or the light. All it had is a stop sign, and she failed to stop at the sign and pulled up on the tracks," Smith said. "She was a very nice lady. ... She had a tender heart for animals and people."
