7-year-old girl critically injured, 3 others injured, all taken to hospital, after a 4-vehicle crash involving a logging truck on Chambers Road in Macon.

Authorities say a 7-year-old girl was in critical condition and others were also hurt and after a four-vehicle accident in which a logging truck overturned.

The accident happened Friday evening on Chambers Road in Bibb County.

The Bibb County Sheriff Office said the accident began when an Oldsmobile Achiva pulled out of an apartment complex in front of a logging truck. Sheriff's officials say the truck driver tried to avoid the car but lost control and struck it and another vehicle.

The log truck overturned and some of the logs struck a Nissan pickup.

All of the drivers were listed in stable condition at The Medical Center of Central Georgia.

The 7-year-old girl sustained a head injury and was listed in critical but stable condition
