Jackson was driving a small sedan that was hit head-on by a Chevrolet Suburban in the 600 block of Ga. 49, Gonzalez said.
The driver of the Suburban was seriously hurt and was taken to Medical Center, Navicent Health, in Macon, Gonzalez said.
