Preston Alexander Young, 1, killed, and two people injured in car crash with logging truck on U.S. 80 in Effingham County, Georgia

A Meldrim toddler has been identified as the child killed in an Oct. 19 Effingham County accident. The second child was not seriously injured, Wheeler said. The accident continues to be investigated by the Georgia State Patrol.
