79-year-old charged with aggravated DUI

The SUV's driver, David Holmes, was arrested and charged with aggravated DUI after police say he failed sobriety tests. BOISE -- A 79-year-old Boise man is behind bars in connection with a crash that sent one person to the hospital. Witnesses tell police the driver of an SUV headed eastbound on State Street failed to yield to oncoming traffic when trying to turn onto 17th, and then collided with a scooter driving westbound on State Street. The driver of the scooter was taken to the hospital with serious, but not life threatening injuries. Boise police say it happened around 8 p.m.
