A 31-year-old Nampa man has died after colliding with a car while driving his motorcycle Thursday morning.
Chad Draggett died at the St. Alphonsus Hospital in Nampa shortly after the crash.
He was reportedly driving his 2000 Suzuki motorcycle near the intersection of Robinson Road and Willow Avenue around 7:15 a.m. when the incident happened.
Idaho State Police say he collided with a 30-year-old Nampa man who was driving a 1998 Ford Escort. Officers believe Draggett was driving northbound on Robinson Road while the driver of the Ford Escort was driving southbound.
The crash happened as the driver of the Ford Escort turned left onto Willow Avenue and Draggett's motorcycle collided with it.
Draggett was taken to the hospital via ground ambulance. Police say he was wearing a helmet.
