Nampa man injured in I-84 crash
Police said Esther Brestel, 68, of Nampa was eastbound on the onramp in a 1995 Ford Taurus. Police said when Brestel slowed for traffic to enter I-84, her car was struck from behind by a 1994 Mazda pickup driven by Damon Kirchner, 35, of Nampa, who failed to slow for traffic. Kirchner was transported by ground ambulance to Saint Alphonsus Medical Center in Nampa. He wasn't wearing a seat belt, police said.
