Jaren Goering, 23, and Monique Morales, 26, died, others injured following a multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 15 near Chubbuck, Idaho

According to Idaho State Police, at milemarker 74.5, a dump truck was headed south when he approached slowing traffic and hit three other vehicles. The driver and passenger of a Toyota Avalon, both from Idaho Falls, died.  A third passenger was taken to the hospital.

The Bannock County Coroner’s Office, in cooperation with Idaho State Police, has confirmed the identities of the deceased following the multi-vehicle collision on Interstate 15 at milepost 74.5 in Bannock County on Wednesday, August 9, 2023.

Kenneth Dale Conley, 67, of Rexburg, has been charged with two counts of vehicular manslaughter, court records show.
