Police say the driver and passenger in the Subaru were not injured. Police say all involved were wearing seatbelts.
A 13-year-old female was killed in a two-vehicle crash in northern Idaho. Kalkidan Qualls was killed Saturday after the van she was a passenger in slid into oncoming traffic on U.S. Highway 95 near Tensed. The driver Russell Qualls was northbound when he lost control of the vehicle. A southbound 2008 Subaru crashed into the van in the passenger side, causing the van to roll. Russell Qualls, 51, and passenger Lisa Qualls, 50, were taken to Kootenai Health in Coeur d'Alene. Their current condition is unknown at this time.
