A Murtaugh man was critically injured when his car crashed into a guardrail and cement barrier on Interstate 84 Tuesday evening, police said.
Michael W. Blankenship was traveling east on Interstate 84 at around 7:50 p.m. when he lost control on a curve, overcorrected and hit the guardrail on the south side of the road. He was not wearing a seat belt at the time. He was transported by medical helicopter in critical condition to St. Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise.
