Officials identify Belleville woman killed in car crash near Pontoon Beach
Maurkeysha D. Belk, 23, died from injuries caused by the crash, the Madison County Coroner's Office said.
The Illinois State Police said that at around 6:11 a.m. Saturday, Belk was driving north on Interstate 255 near Interstate 270 when she lost control of her vehicle. It went off the road and landed upside down in the center median.
