Johnny R. Williams, 39, killed in motorcycle crash at Commons Drive and Gabrielle Lane in Aurora, Illinois
Aurora Truck Driver Cited in Fatal Motorcycle Crash
The preliminary investigation indicates that Johnny R. Williams, of the 2800 block of Kilburne Ln. in Naperville, was driving his 2000 Suzuki GX6 southbound on Commons, apparently at a high rate of speed, while a 2002 Volvo Tractor Truck driven by a 49-year-old Aurora man, was turning into the driveway of the U.S. Post Office, located at 3900 Gabrielle, from the northbound left-hand turn lane.
Since motorcycle crashes often end in serious injuries, victims need immediate help
Motorcycle accidents are more likely to end in serious injuries or death for the motorcyclist, since the rider is not protected from the force of a collision. When a motorcycle accident happens, the injured rider needs immediate, appropriate medical care, the accident needs to be investigated, and the insurance companies need to be informed.
When a motorcycle crash is caused by negligence, additional steps need to be taken to protect the legal rights of the injured motorcyclist or the family members of someone killed in a motorcycle crash. Go here to learn more about motorcycle accidents and claims.
