Police Seek Driver Of Semi That Struck Pedestrian In Elmhurst
A semi truck did not stop after hitting a pedestrian, leaving him critically injured early Tuesday in west suburban Elmhurst.
A 26-year-old man was crossing North York Road at around 3:30 a.m. when he was struck by a semi-truck that didn't stop. He suffered serious injuries and was taken to a local hospital in critical condition. Authorities believe the driver did not notice that a pedestrian was struck.
