Driver Disregarded Red Light in Crash that Killed Him at Woodfield Rd and West Frontage Rd Schaumburg
Schaumburg police announced Tuesday, July 20, 2021 that a preliminary investigation of a fatal crash Monday, July 19, 2021 indicates that the driver of a black Ford Mustang traveling eastbound on Woodfield Road disregarded the red traffic control light, and entered into the intersection of Woodfield Road and West Frontage Road just ahead of a black Jeep Cherokee that was driven southbound through the intersection with a green light.
