Conservation police, as well as state troopers, responded after reports of a boat fire on the Illinois River just before 4:30 p.m. at the Spring Brook Marina in LaSalle County, according to Illinois State Police.
One badly hurt; others hospitalized from yacht explosion near Seneca
Wire told WLPO, a 40 foot yacht – with 17 passengers - had just refueled at Spring Brook Marina when it exploded.
One on board was life-flighted to Loyola.
