Lenzie Johnson, 43, and 18-month-old baby killed in head-on collision on Illinois 146 in Union County, IL

At about 1:00pm, Johnson was driving on Illinois 164 when she crossed into the oncoming lane for reasons unknown, and ended up striking a car driven by a 66-year-old woman who had an 18-month-old baby as a passenger. Both Johnson and the baby were taken to hospitals before being pronounced dead, and the other woman involved was also taken to a hospital but with non-life threatening injuries.
