Curt Terpstra, 34, Krista Green, 37, Jordan Linder, 35, and, Jasmine Linder, 26, killed in plane crash in Johnson County, Illinois

Johnson County Coroner David Rockwell says he pronounced the two men and two women dead at about 8:15 p.m. on Saturday at the scene of the crash. He says the victims all appear to be adults and their identities are unknown. 

The FAA identified the plane as a Piper PA28 and say it crashed under unknown circumstances.

Residents said they saw the plane crash into the wooded area near Crossroads Road around 5:45 p.m. on Saturday.

Johnson County Coroner David Rockwell said Curt Terpstra, 34, Krista Green, 37, Jordan Linder, 35, and his sister, Jasmine Linder, 26, died in Saturday night's crash. All four were from Iowa.

Preliminary information from FAA inspectors shows there is no record of the pilot contacting any air traffic control centers in the area before the crash.
