Illinois State Police report a 1999 Kenworth semi driven by Wayne Kauffman, 66, of Oakland, Maryland, failed to reduce speed as other eastbound vehicles slowed for a construction zone.
The semi crashed into the back of a 2010 Honda Odyssey driven by Raymond Johnson, 74, of Orange, Connecticut.
