UPDATE: One dead, three injured in 7-vehicle pile-up on I-70 in Illinois

Illinois State Police report a 1999 Kenworth semi driven by Wayne Kauffman, 66, of Oakland, Maryland, failed to reduce speed as other eastbound vehicles slowed for a construction zone.

The semi crashed into the back of a 2010 Honda Odyssey driven by Raymond Johnson, 74, of Orange, Connecticut.

The driver of the semi, Wayne Kauffman, 66 of Oakland, Marlyland was charged with failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, aggravated reckless driving, and using an electronic communication device while driving.
